labonator
Hello , Im camping with a huge annoying problem. I own a MSI GT70 ONE with a gtx 680m 4gb version . Now i did a fresh install since the notebook came preloaded with allot of unusefull software . So i did a clean install on the notebook with windows 8 . ( was a pain in the ass ) But i did manage with diskpart to get the ssd working and making a MBR with it . Now i see my western digital 750GB in the bios , in the device manager . But i cant get it into the disk manager section where you can make a volume . I have checked if there is perhaps a driver missing but every single bit is here . Execpt my drive If anyone has a input or something this starts to get really annoying.
Moderator angerthosenear Posted September 28, 2013 Moderator Share Posted September 28, 2013 Does hwinfo see it?Are you able to hotswap / plug in the drive while you are inside windows? Might make windows to forcibly recognize it.Perhaps there is an elusive BIOS setting disabling your HDD?
oneofthem
It maybe a bad disk, try to see it from partitioning tools, e.g. Minitool, EaseUs...
