All Rights Reserved. |+---------------------------------------------------------------------------+ Reading flash ............... done - FFS checksums ......... ok4 - Error: ROM file ROMID is not compatible with existing BIOS ROMID.According to the AFUDOS /? command, I could bypass the ROMID check by specifying the /X option.However, before attempting this, I would like to know if this will brick the system and whether the 3AE BIOS will work on the 1AC? Skynniman Posted September 30, 2013 Share Posted September 30, 2013 You have two way to you're flash :1 - Edit the flash.bat of the bios and delete "/X"2 - Edit the BIOS file and change ROMIDBut I think that if there is 2 separete BIOS for the two computer, it's because they don't have the same Hardware, so I think that you will brick your computer if you do this.
