islanq
I have been flirting with the idea of getting the new G750 to replace my current G75. Anyone out there have any first hand experience with the new model?Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 4 Beta
Trollgeir
Think I'd skip it strictly for economy reasons. I'd wait another year and see if you wouldn't get more for your money. The upgrade might double, who knows!
soultaken
You should do as trollgeir says wait a year if you do not want to lose money because asus is going to release a new laptop next year and it is not as big of an upgrade from asus g75vw to g750
MrRuckus
I upgraded from a G74Sx 560M to a G750JH with a 780M. That was a large jump. But a G75 to a G750 I wouldnt think would be that big of an upgrade. I took a substantial hit on selling my G74, but that always happens with PC hardware. :/ I wouldnt think the difference in performance would justify the hit you would take to sell it, but I guess thats personal preference. thermie
If the new laptop meets needs the current one is incapable of doing, then I'd go for it if possible. But the G75 series is fairly recent and the new CPU and chipset in the latest model aren't too much faster. Maybe if the GPU was a magnitude faster, had a better LCD screen, or other features, I'd take the price hit...

cammac66
Someone I know has the G750JZ, I was really impressed with the cooling, it was so quite compared to my Aienware 17 but as others have said the non updatability of the GPU/CPU killed the whole laptop for me.
