Welcome to the M14X Gaming Thread

This is a place where we can discuss all and any game for the M14X. Any topic gaming related is welcome. For those that want to write a game review and how the game experience on the M14X is, I will take PMs and link or post them in the Original Post. Below I have attached some links of gaming videos from the Benchmarking thread. I will try and update this at least once a week. I can fill Post one with video links, reviews, ect.

If you have a game that you would like to know how it runs, or what the best settings are, this is the place you can request that kind of insight.

Any submissions of reviews/videos ect will be linked and credited to the original author. This can enable new users to get up to speed, and easily find information.

Thanks and can't wait to get some gaming details!

I will try my best to keep the links updated as much as possible! (Mods are welcome to help!)

Crysis 2 Advance Graphic Config Tool.

The M14x can play on the extreme config at about 21-25 fps stock. With overclock to 750/1000 it can maintain close to 30 fps. With this tool, you can remove FSAA, MSAA and AF and maintain well over 30fps. More like 34-40fps at extreme config.

This thread describes the tool and the download link is included. As always, please scan for viruses as TechInferno is not responsible for any malware your machine incurs while installing 3rd party apps.

Okay, so my tech knowledge is solid, but not on any type of uber level. My question is regqrding the Witcher and to a lesser extent Grand Theft Auto IV. Has Nybody he actually mangaged to get them running properly?

In the case pf both games I have been stuck with low res textures, something i imagine is an issue inherent to the Optimus, but perhaps somebody he knows a way around it.

If anybody has altered their ini file to put different drivers on and can test either of those two games, that would also be worth a look.

Oooh awesome results. I need to run those games after finals. BTW did you re-apply your own thermal paste?

Not yet.. I haven't had time. If I do that, nobody will stand a chance to defeat me on benches.. lol

well I can't get past 800 / 1050 for the GPU so... I play games stable at 760 / 1050 - which is great. I do all my gameplay vids at the OC

Used to be called the front side bus till Intel's I-series came out. First generation 133 default for mobile, 100 for second generation.
