Khenglish
Is MSI afterburner not working? It's the number 1 overclocking tool by far.And please tell me you don't use the M16 like 900% of the players in that game do. G3A3 FTW
agadaemon
hahaha no dont have msi after burner will try and get it thanks... i have to use the aek or m16 as i play competitively and those are most used assault guns so if i go down and teammate swops kits he has to use my gun and there for he knows how to shoot with it.. g3a3/an-94 are awesome weapons but very unconventional in team sports as 40% of us only have shot it once or twice so its a team effort
cx-ray
I don't think there's much else you can do besides turning all your settings down and optimizing your cfg file. Overclocking a video card will only marginally improve frame rates, when a video card is already too slow in general. I'm afraid it's new card time if you're looking for a real boost. techsilver13
time for an upgrade more than likely....keep trying to push the card!
m3t4lh34d
Grab a cheap 2nd 460 on ebay and you should be good for another year or so
NilsonNeo4
Well, overclocking your Card will rise your FPS, but don't expect much. Other options:-Try SLI-Upgrade (prefered)-Lower your Settings
maneil99
Overclocking won't make the game palyable at new settings but might give you 3-6fps extra. Maybe more, the 460 GTX was a decent OCer if I remember right, however fermi is a hot chipset
quintillion977
If you're still out for a solution, I would try and find a second 460 for cheap. If you have the CPU for it, you should see a nice bump in performance and won't have to spend much.
SeekerZA
If you play competitive , either tune down your settings to gain higher frames ( Use MSI afterburner to both monitor ingame frames, temps, usage and overclocks of your graphics card ) ORBuy a single stronger graphics card able to push the frames ( i'd recommend you getting a 120Hz capable screen since i noticed a MASSIVE difference in BF3 online compared to using my old 60Hz screen )
