Jimbo
Not trying to spam or anything, I've never actually used a mac.......What is the benefit here? I'm assuming you'll be dual booting or running on a virtual machine? What tasks is it better suited to?

Arklight
One reason I know is to prove to mac fanboys that they're computer isn't ALL THAT. Another is that they have a good OS that I want to learn. I think it has better power management too, but not sure about that one.

That is how they do all benchmarks for them. (Don't believe me pick up latest issue of laptop Magazine)Let's remember the days when Apple got their CPU's from IBM are long gone and an apple is just a glorified pc with a "other" As operational system and put together in an Apple factory.
