[BIOS/vBIOS - MODS] Prema Mod™ & Stock

I'm having issues with my P751ZM running Win 7 Professional. The bluetooth part of the installed Killer 1525 is not shown in the device manager, nor is any bluetooth function available. Tried different Killer Suites and Bluetooth drivers already, including uninstalling with Killercleaner. Nothing helps, there seems to be no bluetooth on this card... The WLAN part is working without issues.

Now i heard that a newer bios may help. Before doing that i'd like to know which version is installed. Where can i see this correctly?

Edit:

Took a while but the issue is finished now: http://forum.notebookreview.com/threads/official-clevo-p75xzm-batman-sager-np9752-owner%C2%B4s-lounge-welcome-to-the-batcave.767105/page-242#post-9949697

thank you so much for a quick reply .. will do it now :)

hey thanks alot.. i flashed the bios and works like a charm :D one question what software to use to overclock the gpu? thanks man /

NVIDIA Inspector works best for me.

Hi all, I just got a Clevo 670SG and I'm having random fps drops ingame, and others seem to be having the same problem.

Someone said that updating the BIOS (stock) solved it but afterwards the CPU maxed out at 2.8Ghz rather than 3.5GHz?

Or should I use Prema? (i know it will void warranty)

Well, the Mod would allow you to raise TDP to also get the CPU Turbo back on track... ;)

Keep F2 pressed right after boot to enter the BIOS setup where the version numbers are displayed.

If you are running Windows in UEFI then it may sometimes boot too fast to be able to enter BIOS, then it usually works best to use F2 during a reboot.

Thank you! I updated the BIOS yesterday from 1.03.06/1.03.03 to 1.03.07/1.03.04(stock version) and it may have been of help. I'm not exactly sure because the bluetooth showed up hours later, but who knows...

Next one will be your tweaked BIOS. I'm just waiting two weeks (14 day money back guarantee) before doing this.

Hey prema,

are you still working on a new bios-mod for the P170SM (with native 9x0M support)? If so, is there an ETA or is there anything I could help you with (e.g. a lil donation :))?

cheers

Bricked BIOS is bricked BIOS, if you can't start it you can't fix. Have you done this before? Read the directions thoroughly? Make sure you flashed the right BIOS?

I followed the instructions in reader doc. My system is pcspecialist ( clevo w230ss) bios ver 4.5.6. Everything flashed fine when everything done it shut down.I removed battery for one minute when powered up blank screen. Pressing F2 or any other key doesn't do any thing only back-lit key working fine. Even connecting with external monitor not showing any thing. One thing my system is FHD and monitor I'm using is very old not even hd when I connect cable it shows going in sleep mode. I've flashed bios many times but this is my first time flashing any molded bios. Purchased system yesterday. Any suggestions pls?

It takes a while to boot up... Did you wait for the BIOS to boot after flashing? Guessing not. Try resetting it and when boot stop spamming F2 and use some patience.

Waited for nearly 20 min after shutdown and still waiting. Approx how long should ic wait?

Follow instructions for recovery - https://biosmods.wordpress.com/bios-recovery/

If the machine is not shutting off and has a black screen it can be recovered.

Excellent and worked perfectly for me. created RMA just an hr back :excitement:. so had to cancel it now

Glad it worked. They usually charge 3 or 400 bucks if you send the machine back due to a bad BIOS flash.

IMG is a disc image. Did you burn that to a CD?

Yes ofc.as per instructions img could be burned too usb. So I burned that to 32gb usb stick usung recommend img burner in readme doc. There was no error during flash process.

Man your system is weird, have the same one and flashed it like 50 times without a single hick-up...

If the flash completed successfully a CMOS reset should be enough to restore it.

Please PM me that image so I can check the actual BIOS and EC versions that where flashed.

I don't want to send my laptop for RMA and wait for another couple of weeks.

Thanks
