Huuy
Hello, I was just wondering if you guys think these idle temps are too high. I'm about to do a re-paste of both the GPU and the CPU, I'm just not sure if it's worth it right now. Here's a screenshot of my idle temps:ImageShack® - Online Photo and Video Hosting
Founder Brian Posted April 22, 2011 Founder Share Posted April 22, 2011 Your CPU/GPU temps look fine to me.
Founder Michael Posted April 22, 2011 Founder Share Posted April 22, 2011 CPU is on the high side if HWiNFO32 was run right from the start when CPU was really idle.It should be around 42-44 degrees as far as i remember.GPU tems are fine
Huuy
Yeah I'm a little worried about the CPU temps, I may pe-paste that. downloading a torrent increased the temps to 60C-65C for some reason.
mw86
I think the best way to tell how bad your pastes are is to load it up. Try Prime 95 small fft or Intel Burn Test 64bit if you can run it. My pastes show that 1 core is not transferring heat right. Hence the 99 Celsius compared to the 92 Celsius you see here. http://i1237.photobucket.com/albums/ff474/marcwwaters86/Benchmark/3dmark20116038result925core1270memory115v75mv130tdp95tdc1497bclk374quad.jpg those idle temps are around 37 Celsius and I normally get lower. About 26-30 Celsius with power saving in throttle stop. If you keep the C0 number for power-saving low around 10-13% it will only kick in when your not doing anything.
