Th3o
Are there any Vbios available for the y580? I've tried searching but I haven't had any luck, I was wondering if my search skill weren't up to par? Thanks!!!
Austin Smith
the 660m VBIOS is tied to the system bios in the Lenovo Y580, I am working on overclocking it but i have been unsuccessful, I can however provide a under or overvolted version along side svl7's unlocked bios version. Th3o
I'm a bit of a noob lol, I've managed to run the hacked bios for the y580. Would I need to flash anything else?
Marco-X
Can you guys please post your Y580 specs. It seems that the Windows 7 version's BIOS differs from the Windows 8 model's BIOS. I was wondering if that was true for the VBIOS as well. Having the Y580 specs of everyone who successfully (or unsuccessfully) flashed the VBIOS would certainly help a lot of would-be flashers

blo0mz
While we're on the topic, has anyone else experienced some FPS "stuttering" with GTX660M? Hopefully overclocking it will fix it. But, like okaybr said, a vbios would definitely be nice :]
stormlight
None here so far. I only have problem where the GPU is not being fully utilized for older game, causing the game to have lower fps than usual. If you game opengl or directx? If opengl, try to enable triple buffer. You should be able to overclock w/ stock bios up to 1066mhz.

dhruhin
can you make a nvidia-only bios option which prevents the integrated graphics from ever kicking in (i don't use my battery much)
