XPS 1645 Bios?

I am not sure if this is the right section to post in first time posting so bear with me......

I have a Dell XPS 1645 8GB Ram, I7 Q720, ATI HD 5730 BIOS version A13, Win 7 which is the latest from Dell.

I am wondering if there is a modified version available that will allow me to do some undervolting? or some form of fan control to quiet this thing down..... the cpu generally only runs in the mid 50's however the fan is very noisy. I have cleaned the fan and also applied to thermal compound which only made a modest improvement. I am now also running a SSD so that is not generating any heat. I also have the bottom cover removed to allow some additional cooling. I have tried running throttle stop which has had a modest effect at best. Any and all suggestions welcome.

Thanks

Mark

Old school bios... hahaha. Well, I guess I can mod the vbios nevertheless. Did you already test stability with undervolts? E.g. with ATI tray tools or maybe Sapphire Trixx. I have no idea what could be stable.
