Nemesis
The only new feature I can find is a "Windows 8 Fast Boot"-Option. It's activated by default.

jack34
Dell want to know what changes have the update.By the way, I have a question. The R4 has EUFI bios?
svl7
Yeah, Dell has been using UEFI for a while now in their AW line, of course there's still the legacy platform in there to support some older stuff, but it's UEFI.
Nemesis
I really would like to know what this "Windows 8 Fast Boot"-Option does or how it works.Windows 8 boots up in a few seconds even with A05.

Nemesis
And again, the downloadlink is broken. It's not possible to download the A09 at the moment.I can't find it on their FTP-Server too.Every time they update something on their homepage, it's not possible to download it for days. How can such a big company have such a bad homepage-support. Prasad
Ehm....something must have been buggy with the A08 I think, because Dell released A09 today !!!Indeed! After flashing the A08 BIOS, I noticed an unidentified device in Device Manager with strange hardware IDs. Then I noticed my touchpad doesn't work anymore! Eagerly awaiting a working A09 BIOS download link..
mw86
Maybe go back to A07 in case since its hard to tell why A08 was taken off of site. Atleast till A09 is available. Paranoid Galaxy S3 on Tapatalk

Then I noticed my touchpad doesn't work anymore! Eagerly awaiting a working A09 BIOS download link..Turns out my touchpad worked after restart. Also, the unknown device was detected and installed as "DELL Airplane Mode hardware" after flashing A08 BIOS, using Windows Update on Windows 8 x64. Paranoid Galaxy S3 on Tapatalk 2I doubt it's actually any hardware at all. At best, it would be software emulating hardware.

Nemesis
Glorious Update... A09 removes the "Windows 8 Fast Boot"-Option again, which came new with A08. Also the GT-Overclocking-Function is disabled when having an ATI-Card built in.
