Thanks guys, it was fun writing the article. Hopefully in the follow-up I'll have SLI and test it against Michael's 7970M xfire setup.

The 670M is but a re-brand of the 570M so should not be expected to be able to come even close to the 680M which quite literally blew everyone's mind when it came out (especially after some earlier rumours about it's total incompetence ;)

Wow! Impressive :) I could not quite stretch to the 680m, but am happy with the 7970m performance in my p150hm - no enduro thank goodness :)

The review was great Brian and the performance of 680m is epic. It certainly makes itself have a presence in even the Desktop world. GTX 580 desktop gpu has been pawned.

Is the custom vbios used in the review available for public use? I can't seem to find it anywhere!

Yes, check the Kepler thread.

So... Does it stutter in minesweeper?

Probably..ha! Seriously though, that's a ridiculous card for a laptop. Puts my 660m to shame. Thanks for the review

Indeed. Though to be fair, my desktop is quite old. (AMD Phenom II X4 965 BE 3.4 GHz + 4GB RAM @ 1600 MHz + HD 6870 Diamond)

I got some nice scores on the GTX 680M, though its not overly clocked or anything. Here's the two tests using different vBIOS.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680M video card benchmark result - Intel® Core i7-3840QM CPU @ 2.80GHz,CLEVO P15xEMx score: P7821 3DMarks

I can run BF3 in ultra mod with this GTX 680m and 3940xm, very impressive for a mobile gpu but in metro with 64 players, i have some lags... maybe overclock can help !

Don't go ultra on shadows not worth it and same goes to the blur effect... waste of FPS :P

Currently running my 680M w/ 960/2300 and a 3920XM w/ 32GB of RAM FancyCache makes sure that I preload places quickly, would really recommend it if you've got RAM to spare when gaming!! You'll notice the difference.

What are your temps?

Use MSI afterburner, it has a function built into the program that lets you monitor temps/clocks/utilization while in game.

Just order my Gtx 680m for 450 USD 2Gb version. Waiting to replace GTX 560m on my MSI GT683R. Wondering how much improvement I will get??)))

You will not believe how much improvement there is, 680m is a truly amazing gpu. ;)
