I have a problem with my MSI GT70 Notebook

It won't turn on anymore, when i hit the power button the screen stays black and after a couple of seconds it turn off and the same process repeats.

Any idea what to do ?

burn it

okay to be honest, try to remove battery an press the power button for about 10 seconds an then put battery in again and try to start it

Do a cmos-reset. i had the same problem when i play with my core clock in Intel Xtu ;)

Picture is attached :)

1. Take out the battery and disconect your power cable

2. then open your notebook

3. disconect the cable (have a look at the pic)

4. wait about 5 minutes and press the power botton a few times

5. do all backward

i hope i can help you ! :)

i think the cmos in the gx60 is under the keyboard at the right sight above!

  • Bios Modder
hmmm...maybe because my bios backup tool couldnt identify my bios... do you know some (working) tools to backup the bios?

Yes. Better choice is FPT for DOS. Download it and put to your bootable USB flash drive. Then boot in to real DOS and just type command: fpt -d backup.rom -bios
