ZoulouTango Posted January 4, 2021 Share Posted January 4, 2021 Hi all, I hope that someone can help me with the following: While trying to install a 780M, things didn't work as expected. After loading the Unlocked BIOS A12, Windows would show a black screen and only the mouse cursor would show up. I removed the card, and tried to restart with only the onboard graphics card; Result was the same; With or without GPU, black screen and only the mouse pointer. Failed also when I tried safe mode. I suspect that I might messed the BIOS settings, so the question is: Can someone provide me the BIOS settings WITHOUT any GPU attached? MattyB Posted January 5, 2021 Share Posted January 5, 2021 Ahh, I see in your other post that you have the R3. You need to set the Video mode to PEG and you also have to disable HD Audio. Once you install the card and the modded driver then you enable the HD Audio again. Some people have found that they never get the internal audio back again after installing the card and other people haven't had an issue at all.
