Hi all,

So now im getting black scrreen when laptop boots, everything as it should be, no display, just black screen, but windows boots, can blind do some things. pluging external monitor display is visible, i can even play games but laptop screen stays black.

trying now to flash vbios, but also with problems, the device ID is not matching. And dont have the MSI version vbios with no g-sync..
This is my third card that ive ordered from china, second one was pretty easy to plug in, mod vbios and it was going flawlessly, but this one, is a pain..

thanks for reply, but unfortunately I cant find the right one..
I have found this so far, near what Im looking by judging the numbers of PCI subsystem ID:

MY adapter: 1462. 1129
vbios:             1462. 1157

All others ive looked, goes:
G-sync - 1617
non g-sync - 13D7 110B

Seller from china said I should need 84.04.22.00.0A version and will be ok, found it downloaded it, tried to flash, but it differs only 1129 from 1157 and flash wont go...

P.S to mention interesting thing, I have old gtx 980M 8GB same card like this, only different is vbios version.. it has same device ID, same subsytem ID's and that card is working with my laptop (unfortunately the memory chips are burnt, so the card dies when reaching specific memory usage, and red lines appears).. But the card working, display showing. And this card the new one I have now, have same specs only memory chips are not samsung but ulanda i think, but everything is the same..
Any ideas?

Post here your current vbios from your new card, and vbios from your old gtx 980M 8GB. I'll take a look.
