When I first migrated to GNU/Linux from Windows I used to rely on UNetBootin to create bootable USB pen drives. It's obviously FOSS and multi-platform, worked like a charm. Haven't used it in a decade as I'm just dd-ing images since I changed OS, but it should work with any .iso image AFAIK.

If you're still in need of help, try looking this one as well:

I have a version of rufus for making bootable "MS-DOS" bootdisks.
Rufus as you know don't work on windows 10 at all right out of the box. Windows 10 is missing files for Rufus to make a "MS-DOS" boot disk. I have added these files to a installer package and I call it "Rufus 1.2.0 Build(182) Win10 Fixed.rar". I give to this forum my file for everyone to have.

FileName: Rufus 1.2.0 Build(182) Win10 Fixed.ra
FileSize: 1.1 MB
