Fixnabrick
Need to replace my old headset and with all of the options it's hard to know what is worth the money. Having the mic built into the headset is nice and all but I feel like the sound quality of the headset will always be worse than one without a mic at the same price. Any suggestions for around $100 for a decent headset w/mic that isn't one of these flavor of the month gamer headset or should I just go with a headset without a built in mic. geekgirl101
My Cloud HyperX is very good. Virtually no sound outside of the headphones, comfy on the ears for long-time gaming, and the mic sound is good quality also that people can hear me loud and clear. Just whatever you do don't go for Turtle Beach, they went downhill a while back using cheap components and don't work well for PCs. RossBolton
Well I like headset+mic but they are really hard to find in good quality right now I am using Logitech G930 which so far the best 2 in 1 headset I have ever had. I'd recommend you to for it.
Yobazcik
I've used 3 logitech headphones in my life. Then I bought hyperx. I will never buy logitech again. My advice is not to buy a logitech headset. logitech produces products with very low material quality and very low repairability.

Drevvv
If you are looking for a good pair of open back headphones you can not beat the Philips SHP9500 for the money. Paid $50 usd for mine a few years ago and still holding up. Could use it with a mod mic for gaming.
