cubusil Posted January 25, 2019 Share Posted January 25, 2019 Hello guys! Recently I've purchased an 8970m 4gb for my M18X R1, today I've tried to install it, but had no luck. Laptop turns on with offscreen, beeps 8 times, and that's it. I have an unlocked bios(A05). I presume that the vbios is uefi and I need a non uefi one. How can I manage to make it work? cubusil Posted January 27, 2019 Author Share Posted January 27, 2019 Well you will not believe, but the problem was just the X-bracket. Everything is working except fan control but well HWiNFO does the job. Also when the laptop boots up I cant acess bios, the image of alien is all glitched, but after windows starts up and all fine.
