Question Posted December 13, 2018 Share Posted December 13, 2018 (edited) Everything was working fine yesterday...turned laptop on today, and for some reason the fan speed area is blank in CCC and I cannot control the fan speed at all...only thing I can think of is that windows update installed two updates yesterday which might have broken it. Setting the fan to "maximum" does affect it, but i cannot lower the speed down to 10% like before so the fans are too loud. Tried uninstalling them, but theres one update that windows wont let me uninstall because its "critical" : KB4464455. Tried uninstalling/reinstalling CCC...no dice, the fan speed area is just blank.
