Hello.
My computer is Lenovo X240 (20 AM-A1S702).
The BIOS is locked.
I want to make this computer Hackintosh.
Please unlock the BIOS and delete the whitelist Hackintosh specification (Wifi, lcd (IPS), etc). Thank you.

@Klem
Please remove LCD whitelist first and foremost from my BIOS and optionally do Wi-Fi and advanced menu.

Thanks

1. You already changed your LCD display to another model?

2. What happens after you changed LCD?

3. You lost brightness control?

Yes I've installed a generic LG IPS FHD panel and so the brightness control doesn't work on Windows.
BTW I sadly don't have the original panel as it was broken and I dumped it a long time ago.

Ok. Now search in Google and download Moninfo utility, then run Moninfo and extract your EDID (highlight the selected display and hit Save As...)

Hi Klem!

At first, thank you for doing this!

I have 2 Devices, a x240 and a x250, can you modify the x250 Bios aswell?

I want to replace both screens with a FHD one.

But the x250 is my main device, so only Bios of x240 for now

https://www.file-upload.net/download-13670237/X240.zip.html

I uploaded 2 tries, but they are the same, i guess.

If it works, i will surely modify my x250 too!

Thank you!

Greetings from Germany!

Actually this guy is asking for money to do the whitelisting...

Nothing wrong with that, but he is not saying that upfront, he wants to look like a nice guy who will do this just to help others..not the case here.

Yeah, i realised already, but to be honest, nothing wrong with that. If you can do something no one (or only a few) else can, why would you do this for nothing?

If i Invest my time and effort into this, this is worth more than a few bucks.

As I said, there's nothing wrong with asking for money for some service you provide (even if one doesn't pay taxes for that income).

My comment was about this guy trying to look like a nice guy who's helping others for free. Which he's not.

Besides that, I don't give a s**t.

Hello,

I am unsure if you still perform UEFI mods for the Lenovo Thinkpad X240, but I've recently acquired one and managed to dump the UEFI chip using a CH341A programmer, as suggested. I'd be very grateful if you could take a look at it, unlock the hidden menu and remove the whitelist, as I'd like to install an unauthorized network card.

I've shared the UEFI dump alongside a SHA256 hash for verification on Google Drive. Please find it here:

Thank you in advance.
