Hi Klem,

I been  keeping tabs on this thread and I bought a SPI programmer just for this and I really need your help in removing the whitelist for the display for my X240. I've bought a screen that doesn't tally with the service part FRU so I am not able to control my brightness anymore. I've dumped it and I would love if you could also unlock the additonal settings too!

P.S I've a X1 Gen 3 and a Lenovo X201, will you be able to unlock additional settings for both of them and remove the supervisor password for it as well if i dump them?

Thanks so much for your help!

Hi!

Ok. Check PM.

Hey, I have an x240 and I'd like to replace the wifi card to a DW1560 to have 5ghz wifi. Can you perform the whitelist removal mod? Here's the link to the eeprom dump: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1BK-C0wc0IxZjDmftOxsBloxDa_7vGhft/view?usp=sharing, I dumped it three times and the md5sum was the same every time. Machine type: 20AM-S4JL00

Thanks in advance. You can DM me if you need any info about my laptop like a serial number.

Hi, I've had some problem while updating my lenovo x230's bios so it's bricked. I buyed a ch341a pro black edition with SOIC8/SOP8 test clip for flash eprom and unbrick it but i didn't find any information on the web. I read that this version of ch341a provide a voltage of 5v but this eprom need 3.3v so i could burn it. Could you please give me some help for understand how i can flash the eprom using this programmer (pin side, how and which pins plug, program to use, etc..)? I have yet the bios bin file. Thank you so much in advance.

If you meet with some problems during read or verification bios dump from bios chip, then try use  AsProgrammer 1.4.0, or Postal, or Colibri. I placed all different software versions in to this link:  https://www.sendspace.com/file/0ptob7
