Laptop Lenovo E540 

I have a problem with the battery that is not detected by the laptop
maybe You could remove the whitelist so that the laptop detects the battery?
I read the Bios and EC and attached it.

bios ver. 2.28 (J9ETA2WW)

ec ver. 2.27 (J9HTA1WW)

Hi!

The restriction on using a non-original battery is included in the EC firmware (not in the BIOS), but I don't work with the EC firmware, so I can't help in your case.

I'm triyng to renew wifi card

from old: Intel Wireless-N 7260 WiFi Card

to new: AX210HMW WiFi Card

BIOS maker: Phoenix

Trying to change my broken em7345 card on my lenovo t440s. But whitelist in bios block my laptop with new card. I have 2.53 bios. Can anyone help me with this problem please? Thank you.

In Lenovo ThinkPad T440s, any modified bios can be flash using hardware SPI programmer only, exactly the same as described in the first post of this thread:

So, to create bios backup (dump) you need to use hardware SPI programmer.

Wasn't sure if you needed both BIOS chips read so read both just in case, they cab be downloaded from the links below, first one is from 8MB chip and second one from the 4MB chip. Thanks !!
