hi klem and i just got the bios off of my t440p and was worndering if you can remove the white list and unlock the advanced menu that would be great

I apologize if this is already covered, but should I update to the latest bios before dumping my bios and asking for this service, or should I retain a specific earlier version of the BIOS?  Also, will this flash survive any future bios updates (assuming lenovo is still supporting bios updates)?

It is at your discretion. It does not matter or bios unlock.

Battery-check function doesn't present in bios, it placed in EC firmware, but I don't work with EC firmware.
