Hey, so my system as you will probably see has already been upgraded, I just need the whitelist altered to allow an Intel 7260.HMW pci-e half mini card to work with the system. Not sure if it makes a difference, but i upgraded the motherboard to intel express hm76, in order to run intel i series cpus. The motherboard was implemented in an alternate version of my model of laptop so i got it, works great. I'm sure the rest of the info you need is in the results file. Will send now.

Hi

I upgraded my laptop Lenovo G580 (20150) and changed some parts. One of these was processor from i3-3120m to i5-3230m. Mainboard have chipset HM76. Everything works fine. But the Intel Turbo Boost is not working. I think I need another bios, unlocked and with wlan whitelist off, to start working the Turbo Bost mode. my bios results.rar is in link sendspace below. Thank You for helping us with this problem.

thanks mate to answer 4 me, In my PM I saw only ifno to donate You for beer and nothing more. Soo... I donate myself and go to shop to buy beer but 4 me. To another persons with problem like mine If somebody have laptop Lenovo G580 20150  with old bios  and change this old processor without function Intel Turbo Boost 2.0 to another processor (like mine I5-3230m) with this function  but in windows system it still looks that its not working so U must flash your bios. To laptops G580 with motheboard 20150 newest bios is on Lenovo side below. I download this file and its flashed my laptop bios and in a software like AIDA64 I saw that Turbo Boost 2.0 is now working well and my procesor has clock from stock 2.6Ghz to 3.2Ghz.  I used system WIndows 10 64bit. My old procesor was i3 -3120m without boost mode. See Yaa All I hope this is usefull for Ya and this info is 4 100% free.   https://download.lenovo.com/consumer/mobiles/5ecn96ww.exe

I will not change Wifi card in this laptop so i dont need moded bios. best regards!

Hi!

You can post here or send me your file backup of bios.  For creating backup of bios use attached program. Unzip attached archive directly on the Desktop and run the utility as Administrator (right click mouse). Utility will create archive "results" directly on the Desktop. You can send me this archive "results" via PM or upload it to any fileserver and send me the link.

      Hi,
      In this thread you can post your requests for AMD-V unlock on ACER E5-553G and same laptops with AMD CPU's, for example Acer Aspire E15, Acer Aspire E5-523G, Acer Aspire E1-522, Acer Aspire E1-420, Acer Aspire E5-421, etc.

      Now we can unlock  AMD-V function for virtualization support. In general, this method described in the article on this link: http://www.geektech.co.nz/how-to-unlock-...enovo-y700
      This way requires Windows as a system because  some tool works only in Windows.

      Download this tool: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4NHIBM...RtQXM/view
      Extract the archive H2OUVE.rar directly on the Desktop and copy the H2OUVE folder directly on the disk C:\
      Then run the Command prompt as Administrator and execute these commands:
      cd  \

      cd  H2OUVE

      H2OUVE.exe   -gv   vars.txt

      After each command press the Enter button.
      After that, you'll have the file "vars.txt" in H2OUVE folder.
      Post here this file "vars.txt" or upload it to any fileserver and  send me the link.

      For reference, here's the EFI-table with available settings for this notebook: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B4NHIB...WI4LW14bE0
      And here's the setting that needs to be changed:
      0x1C40B             Setting: SVM support, Variable: 0xEE {05 91 54 02 55 02 54 00 34 12 EE 00 00 10 00 01 00}
      0x1C41C                 Option: Disabled, Value: 0x0 (default) {09 07 27 00 10 00 00}
      0x1C423                 Option: Enabled, Value: 0x1 {09 07 28 00 00 00 01}

      It's locked & hidden by default, but I've got an i7 8700k & I'd like to use the intel graphic on my hackintosh mojave.
      Is there any way to activate or mod this?
      Thanks!

      I have been attempting to change my boost clocks values for the longest time, though I've been unsuccessful. I managed to flash my modded BIOS, though no changes seem to have had happened, along with no errors either. Here's all the stuff I used and was able to get. If someone is able to help me with this, it would be greatly appreciated.
