M18XCope123 Posted December 28, 2017 Share Posted December 28, 2017 Hi guys can anybody be so kind to help please I gave a 120hz 17x r5 and I have a 7970m I installed to replace my 780m as it was sold, now when I install the card its recognised in the bios but as soon as I install drivers I get a blank screen, can anybody help does it need a flash to a 8970m or m290x, appreciate any help Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
naightmehr Posted December 29, 2017 Share Posted December 29, 2017 The hd7970m does not support the 120hz screen, I assume it only worked before because your 120hz screen was using your intel gpu to boot but after you installed the drivers it used your hd7970m.
