shoguneitor Posted November 5, 2017 Share Posted November 5, 2017 Hello I have a m18 x r1, some time ago I changed the video card from 560 m to 780m, so it would work, change the bios to A05 and install a driver in mod version 372.70, which works very well, this week I came new hardware to improve the equipment another 780m card to connect it in sli, a cpu 2960 xm, the cpu works perfect, the second video card in the bios recognizes me, but in windows no, what I need to do or what error committed please help, alienware m18 xr1 is an old computer but still gives the battle, I also comment that I have the transformer 330, and also the dissipators of both cards are 100 watt, help please. shoguneitor Posted November 6, 2017 Author Share Posted November 6, 2017 hello today I did new tests, finally it is working in sli in windows, use the same drive and then I chose the option in nvidia to activate sli, I was very happy and when I went to try a game I realized that a few seconds later the transformer of 330 watt I stop working and just continue with the battery of the alienware, uff that rages again, which I recommend doing first, to find the fault.
