HP Elitebook 8760w + eGPU Express Card on Windows 10

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I have an HP Elitebook 8760w i7 with nvidia 4000M 2G ram and an external (desktop) GTX 580 card with  the EXP GDC Beast v8.3 (ExpressCard).
I install Nvidia driver for Quadro 4000M, but in Device Manager, egpu ( GTX 580) is not recognised.
When I install and update drivers  through Device Manager or Windows Update, I reboot windows 10.
The desktop does not show up and windows turns constantly (black screen).

How to fix the driver for egpu Express Card (GTX580) on Windows 10?

OS: Windows 10 pro  v:1703,  RAM: 16 Go

NB: On Voyager 16.03 ( Xubuntu), both graphic card 4000M & egpu Express card (GTX580) work well with the same driver.
