First of all thx for the great work and for sharing these bioses with the comunity but can u be more precise of what actualy this bios contains and what is actualy unlocked?

And what are the diference between your bios and Prema's for example.

Can u elaborate the cangelogs and the modifications a little bit, I am sure the comunity will apreciate it.

Tahnk you again for the hard work.

Hi! Alot of new menus and options are available and I've added the chipset menu and more to come in the updated versions later on. Because no one have made and released unlocked BIOSes for these models I decided to do it.

That's briliant, yet again thank you again and I think it's a big thx in the name of the comunity aswel, you deserve a big thx from all the Clevo DM/KM users who did not had the posibility to buy from a Prema partner resseler.

One thing puzzless me, most of the bios upgrades on this models ive seen comes with a EC/BLK also, does your bios dont need one, or it works on the stock EC/BLK? Sorry for so many questions but I am just cautios to not brick my machine.

THX

It will work just fine without flashing the EC, but you can upgrade it if you want to, I might include it in the flash later on for people who want it.

I have a Clevo P870DM-G with bios version 1.05.07TCPS and EC 1.05.03. Will it be ok to flash your bios like this? Or do I need and updated EC?

Just flashed your bios and I can confirm it works, no errors, no boot fails, no heart atack:hyper:(thx for that), the one ting I couldn't work out it is that it does not keep the fast boot option to enable, it always goes disable after restart (booting on pure Uefi from samsung nvme drive formated as GPT)

If you want to keep the Fast Boot option to enable always after restart, just flash this:

BIOS.rar

I've added the chipset menu and unlocked most of the other menus. That's about it at the time but I'm working on some stuff to come. :)

      CHECKING TO SEE WHICH CLEVO MODELS YOU WOULD LIKE ME TO MAKE BIOS MODS FOR.

    • By ElChuterRD
      Greetings, I have a p650rs and I have this little problem that I can not play in MRHYBRID mode, only if the charger is connected, and I do not see high quality videos or play if it is in discret mode, if the A / C is connected.

      Any idea what it could be?

      I have the latest version of Bios and ECF
      I've been looking for custom-made Vbios but I can not find anything.
      Thank you

      Hey guys! Long time no see! Been ages since I've been here and wow has this place changed! @Briankeep up the great work!  I've been pulled away from my computer passion by raising 3 kids! All 6 and under.  Crazy how time flies!

      On to what brings me here.  Love you oming for some ideas.

      My X7200 was recently shutting down randomly. The num lock and caps lock would start flashing and then it'd shut down. CPU and GPU Temps looked good, but fans were running a lot.  I figured whatever was hot was something HW Info couldn't see or read.

      I repasted my GPUs and CPU, put in new thermal pads as well. Unfortunately when I tightened the CPU heatsink, I must have over tightened a screw because it pulled the screw sleeve on the mobo out. Temps are still good, idle around 33°C, and fans run full bore all the time. So it may not have quite enough pressure on a mofset or something. On the plus side, I let the computer sit on for 16-18 hours idle,and it didn't shut down, which solved one issue and created another.

      Would I be okay to superglue it back down to the mobo? Should I use some other adhesive? Then it would create a tad more pressure, evenly, and possibly solve my fan issue. Damn these old computers. Purchasing a newmobo would probably be more expensive than it's worth.

      I really need to retire this thing, but it's served me faithfully since Oct 2012. Eventually I'll move to something more mobile and a desktop.

      Hi,
      In this thread you can post your requests for AMD-V unlock on ACER E5-553G and same laptops with AMD CPU's, for example Acer Aspire E15, Acer Aspire E5-523G, Acer Aspire E1-522, Acer Aspire E1-420, Acer Aspire E5-421, etc.

      Now we can unlock  AMD-V function for virtualization support. In general, this method described in the article on this link: http://www.geektech.co.nz/how-to-unlock-...enovo-y700
      This way requires Windows as a system because  some tool works only in Windows.

      Download this tool: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4NHIBM...RtQXM/view
      Extract the archive H2OUVE.rar directly on the Desktop and copy the H2OUVE folder directly on the disk C:\
      Then run the Command prompt as Administrator and execute these commands:
      cd  \

      cd  H2OUVE

      H2OUVE.exe   -gv   vars.txt

      After each command press the Enter button.
      After that, you'll have the file "vars.txt" in H2OUVE folder.
      Post here this file "vars.txt" or upload it to any fileserver and  send me the link.

      For reference, here's the EFI-table with available settings for this notebook: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B4NHIB...WI4LW14bE0
      And here's the setting that needs to be changed:
      0x1C40B             Setting: SVM support, Variable: 0xEE {05 91 54 02 55 02 54 00 34 12 EE 00 00 10 00 01 00}
      0x1C41C                 Option: Disabled, Value: 0x0 (default) {09 07 27 00 10 00 00}
      0x1C423                 Option: Enabled, Value: 0x1 {09 07 28 00 00 00 01}
