MSI GT70 2OC Bios flash failed?

So i downloaded the lastest official bios from MSI website and used the UEFI bios update method.

After i selected the bios the laptop rebooted but screen went black and the power button LED blinked twice and then go just on.

After leaving it for a hour like this is still in the same state so i tried to reboot it and get black screen and white power LED button and nothing more happen.

Is there a way to fix it or is the bios bricked even after i followed all steps listed on the MSI website

bios tried to flash was E1763IMS.51D

I don't think the MSI staff gets that deep when it comes to solve these matters.

These companies are known to have very efficient procedures to solve this problems.

The blind flash procedure was developed precisely to reduce costs in training the employees to solve BIOS related issues among a thousand other things that cost money to the company.

We may never know in this lifetime the "Blind Flash" key combination or whatever secret procedure is. With every support member beign recorded over the phone they would not even dare to send an anonymous e-mail to you with that info.

But you can bet, a simple solution is available. If we ever find out that's another story.

MSI don't have a Secret Way for it.

You send it to MSI and pay 25€,they take the Chip out and flash the Bios.

Until proof is presented, it will remain as an invalid statement.

I only have contact to all Admins from German MSI Forum and meet 1 Time in the Year the People from the German Headquarter in Frankfurt.

i got this Information directly from them last Year, not more not less.

Different People check the Connectorlines on the Board from the Serviceconector to the Bioschip, there is no Way to Flash it this Way.

There is also a Specialist who repair a lot of Bioschips and EC Chips from

all Barebones.

The most from MS16F4 and MS-1763 because MSI don't use Winbind there.

i was the first People who tried a GTX 970M in MS1761 and GTX 1060

in MS-1763/MS-1762 and MS-16F4,

also in MS-1781 and MS-1782.

Also the GTX 1070 in MS-1781/MS-1782,next is a GTX 1070 in MS-1763/MS-16F4 and MS-16F2.

I'm in China now to buy the Cards directly here.

I think I'm not a Punk.

Desoldering the bios chip is not necessary. MSI doesn’t do that. That’s too much time and effort. Get a spi programmer with a SOIC8 chip clip and you can reflash your bios. Think I paid like $9 USD for the programmer and clip. Cheap fix. Open the laptop find the bios chip (should have red dot on it and a simple in one corner), and reflash. You can flash a bios from MSI’s website. PM me if you need any help.
