This device cannot find enough free resources that it can use. (Code 12) if you want to use this device, you will need to disable one of the other devices on this system HELP

NEED HELP. I have no idea what I can do. Everywhere I've looked there's no solution. Running on a i5 HP Pavilion dm4 and my graphics card is a Geforce 8800 Gts.

I plugged everything in correctly. 1.took out my wifi card and screwed in the pcie to hdmi cord then plugged it into the egpu dock.

2. my psu and gpu (that I also connected onto the egpu dock) start up PERFECTLY when I press my laptops power button.

3. Windows 10 starts up fine and in device manager it detects my GPU on the external dock perfectly. I disabled my laptops internal HD graphics and restarted my laptop.

4. I downloaded the drivers needed for my graphics card through "Geforce Experience" then restarted my laptop like it said to do and now IN DEVICE MANAGER it shows

what device do I need to disable???
Is there a driver that is also located in the same PCI E port that I need to disable or something? A member on the forums named Tesla said something about how code 12 indicates a driver conflict, 2 drivers accessing the same hardware ports at the same time. But what other drivers are enabled that are blocking my graphics card??

(PCI bus 1, device 0, function 0) is where it says my graphics card is located. I don't want to disable or uninstall the wrong thing and Idk what it is I have to do.  Would VERY MUCH appreciate any guidance and help. I've been looking everywhere! And no luck :logik: I would owe you an arm and leg if someone can help me in this jam! I just want to play some games!

      Hi there guys,

I've been looking into getting a new GPU for my laptop (4-lane PCI-e) and enclosure (HP Omen Enclosure) but I cannot decided between the RX 5700 XT and the RTX 2070 (non SUPER).

I did some price to performance calculations (higher is better) with some of the best prices I can currently get in the UK.

The RX 5700 XT does perform better and is cheaper than the RTX 2070 (Although the 2070 does come with 2 games) but my main concern is drivers and from what I've heard NVIDIA cards work a lot better with eGPUs than AMD.

If anyone has experience using both red & green or if anyone else has any other input i'd love to hear your experiences and input.

      Thanks.

Hi guys, bit of a rookie to the whole EGPU scene. Currently I have:

      - MacBook Pro 2015 13inch (3.1GHz Core i7 16GB RAM)
      - Razer X Core
      - Apple TB3 to TB2 Adapter
      -  TB2 Cable (Cable Matters)
      - 23inch AOC External Monitor

I am wonder about what graphics card to get to run X-Plane11 with high graphic settings?
I have purgewrangler set up and ready to use with an AMD graphics card, but am also open to the idea of an Nvidia graphics card.
Any advice appreciated. I did not buy a Windows PC as I need a Mac for various other things and wanted an all-in-one laptop.

The GPU works, The PSU works, The system works. [individually they all do work]

The system works perfectly fine without the WLAN card.

When i put the system to sleep and hotswap the mPCIe riser and WLAN press something on the keyboard.. Restarts.
Will shutdown in roughly 27 seconds for those 27 seconds it works just fine like how it normally would on external monitor.

When i shut it down and plug the riser and switch it on, same story. 27 seconds.

I don't even see a error. I get to login screen directly. I used DDU already.

I timed it. no matter what i do if i use the eGPU, External monitor it restarts instead of pause-play. I have 27 seconds.

      Need help!

Hey guys, I am Grga and i am new here. I rarely use forums but i am desperate in this case.
So, as i have seen many of you have had the issue with obsolete BIOS versions for clevo P7xxZM machines,
So i would like to hear your experiences and how you went about it.
I have recently bought an ssd Samsung 970 PRO NVMe M.2. From which i would like to boot the windows10.
Little did i know that there was no support for that kind of protocol in the BIOS or that there is such thing as UEFI (for which i am still not sure what that is exactly, except some kind of successor of BIOS).
So i did a bit of research and updated my Bios and ec to 1.03.15 and 1.03.09 respectively for which i understand is the last available official release. I changed to uefi mode with secure boot disabled etc... in short i did everything that my (limited) knowledge about these things allowed me to do (and the sweat of excitement and fear when i was flashing the bios for the first time in my life). But, alas, it all yielded no success,  and now i am lost. I have really no idea what to do, and whom to ask for help except for you guys here. The only thing that i understand worked for some of you is when you mentioned a wizard named @Prema so therefore i will try to do the same....

I got the exp gdc beast 8.5 got all the connections right... laptop boots up... fans turn on the gpu.... device manager detects gtx 1060 with a “ ! “ in a yellow triangle. Now what to do.... i tried to do the bios mod.... but realised that i have 3.07 version.
      Questions-
1 is there any way to get this done without the mod??
2 if mod is the only way... kindly help me with step by step instruction in laymans terms... i m not a techy... so i might not understand technical terms.... altho i am interested... but learning yet. Please help.
