asus x556ua egpu not detected

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone sorry for eventual error my english is kinda bad.

i've a asus x556 ua and i'm trying to setup an egpu via exp gdc v8 ngff (cause my laptop has no mpcie) with an asus gtx 1050 ti 4gb but when i turn on my pc i can't see it on device management tab. i tryed different ways to switch on the pc like first the card and then the pc, first pc then card, turn on the pc with the wlan card and then switch to the card but none of this is working. i don't have egpu setub by ****** but i'm waiting to recive itso if that solves the problem i'll update the topic. if someone had a similar problem how solved it' thanks in advamce to everyone

i also noticed with hwinfo that the port when the wlan card is on is the nuber 6 but when i plug the gpu that port simply disappear.
