robban Posted January 28, 2017 Share Posted January 28, 2017 I have an iMac Late 2013 with the Nvidia GTX775M, 16GB ram, 3,4GHz Intel Core i5 4670. I have latest Sierra and boot camp Windows 10. I would like an easy e-gpu setup that isn't an eyesore, and I don't want a secondary monitor. I don't want to use an ATX Psu either. It's only for gaming in windows. Is it possible to use an Akitio Thunderbolt 2 and for example a Nvidia GTX 970 or the Nvidia 1060 mini? And perhaps the Dell PSU I've been reading about on these forums? Or a different small PSU? Maybe it would fit inside the Akitio? I want to use the iMacs built in monitor, and not use a secondary one. I can solder and mod, no problem. Just wondering if it will work?
