eesahe Posted January 21, 2017 Share Posted January 21, 2017 I'm considering to purchase an used Sonnet Echo Express III-D (and to modify the internal PSU to provide the full 300w of power). The only problem is, I would like to have the option of using a hybrid card, and it looks like there wouldn't be enough space to fit a hybrid GPU card into the enclosure. (Photo courtesy of MrHaPPyPiLLs) In the Akitio Node for example, there seems to be ample space for a Hybrid card. I haven't used a hybrid GPU card before, so I wonder if it would be possible to slightly bend the cables/pipes coming out from the card to fit, or are they totally stiff?
