jaded Posted January 15, 2017 Share Posted January 15, 2017 So I built this setup without realizing I had a mini display port instead of thunderbolt. The setup is practically complete; all you need is a power supply with the paper clip trick. Both the Akitio enclosure and modified adapter are working (I bent the Akitio enclosure to fit larger graphics cards). The green light turns on the Akitio board and a volt meter was used to test voltage for adapter (12V). If anyone is interested please let me know! I can attach pictures if needed.
