Hi man. It's fixed with v344.65, "game ready driver" BS, 120Hz/144Hz screwed monitor profiles/blank screen.

Hi again,

Nor v344.65, v344.75 works for me.

Screen still gets garbled up, like out of focus...little lines like a Van Gogh painting ((no example, did not make screenprint)

So still on v344.11.

Any suggestions?

-Thanks!-

Hi man. v344.65 worked fine for 2 days, blurry screen all over again. I'm back to v344.11.

Temporary Fix. Latest games.

NV driver v344.75 -> Display.Driver folder -> extract .dl w/ 7-Zip v9.25 x64.

    nvwgf2umx.dl
  • nvwgf2um.dl
  • nvd3dum.dl
  • nvd3dumx.dl
    Backup first. Copy/overwrite all DLLs v344.75 to the corresponding directories (safe mode).
  • C:\Windows\System32\nvwgf2umx.dll
  • C:\Windows\SysWOW64\nvwgf2um.dll
  • C:\Windows\SysWOW64\nvd3dum.dll
  • C:\Windows\System32\nvd3dumx.dll
    Installed version 344.11 -> Dlls v344.75

Screen refresh rate reverts to 60Hz upon restart LGD02C5 (5 months) and the messed up monitor profiles/v34x.xx bugs, all fixed...:D

    AW LGD02C5/120Hz Fix

  • Set refresh rate to 120Hz -> Uninstall current drivers DDU
  • Download GeForce 344.11 WHQL
  • Extract driver 7-Zip v9.25-x64
  • Delete Display.Driver folder -> Copy/Paste (7-Zip) [Link Removed]
    2- Display.Driver_v344.75_LGD02C5.7z v344.75 -> Blurry screen/text fixed. Unlocked vBIOS/cards -> don't install this version, it removes the Power target adjust ability & readings/greyed out.

Hey J95,

I hope you can help me out, I upgraded my m17x r3 (win8.1) with a 680m and modded the 344.75 driver, disabled the driver signing via cmd and installed the driver ( was asked if I want to install it, pressed yes) then rebooted and got a blackscreen.

So I disabled the IGP and set display to PEG, and now I am here.

Device manager displays my GPU as Microsoft Basic Display Adapter and the id changed.

From : PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_11A0&SUBSYS_04BA1028&REV_A1

PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_11A0&SUBSYS_04BA1028

PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_11A0&CC_030000

PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_11A0&CC_0300

To : PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_11A0&SUBSYS_04901028&REV_A1 PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_11A0&SUBSYS_04901028

PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_11A0&CC_030000

PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_11A0&CC_0300

And now I dont know what to do next.

I hope that you can help me :D

Thanks for the quick answer,

caused two new ones, the first with the posts , just five posts , excluding spamming of course :D , or the membership what i prefer atm , because im not that into forums, mainly because im not that confident in writing english. :D

and the second one , i just have to repeat the progress with the driver you are refering to and remove the other one i installed?

Ok used DDU to remove the driver, extracted the new one and deleted Display.NView Display.Update and Display.Optimus, but could´nt find NVWMI , copy/pasted nvdmi and startet setup , but failed to install :/

    Win8 -> Disable driver signing.
  • Download Geforce 344.80 Beta
  • Extract driver with 7-Zip -> Extract to "344.80-notebook-win8-win7-64bit-international-whql"
  • Display.Driver folder -> copy/overwrite nvdmi.inf (unzip).
  • Extracted driver folder -> run setup.exe
    Safe to delete. My driver folder.

Yep, basically a workaround for v344.75 (31 installs), now I know where to look next time.

This is a beta driver that addresses the following issues:

    GeForce GTX 980 displays texture shimmering when Texture Filtering Quality set to High Quality.
  • GPU outputs fuzzy lines over DisplayPort after a period of time following driver updates.
  • System hang up and black screen after power on with some monitors (DP1.2 & 4K/60Hz) + GTX980

J95 do you know if these finally perform like everyone says 327 does for nvidia and for example 880m.

Create a restore point and find out...:P

@mw86 Try it out, there's more positive feedback with this version than 344.75.

As I said, you need to disable driver signing first.

Please follow the instructions below.

- Windows 8 - disable driver signing

Command Prompt (Admin) Win key + X Type:

bcdedit /set {current} testsigning yes

-> "The operation completed successfully" ->reboot ->Install drivers.

Exit test mode, cmd (admin).

bcdedit /set {current} testsigning no

->reboot.

yeah I did that, tried it again just to be sure, and got the same result :/

IGP disabled and display set to PEG are the default settings now. Run DDU/third option (safe mode)

Enable 'F8' boot option.

cmd (Admin)

bcdedit /set {default} bootmenupolicy legacy

F8 -> safe mode -> DDU clean & shutdown

F8 -> "Disable Driver Signature Enforcement"

Install v344.80 http://forum.techinferno.com/nvidia/6307-%5Balienware%5D-aftermarket-upgrades-driver-support-modded-inf-9.html#post114229

IGP disabled (Integrated Graphics) PEG enabled and driver signing disabled, try re-seating the card. If it still fails, faulty GPU.
