Disable Intel Speedstep in your BIOS.

Download ThrottleStop(google it), tick set multiplier, set your multiplier to the desired value, untick BD prochot to prevent CPU throttling.

Download MSI Afterburner, give your card a small overclock, prioritize core over memory clock.

All of the above will raise your temps, if you throttle because of it, you can buy a cooling pad to keep  the temps down. USB cooling pads are more portable, outlet pads require an outlet, but can have some really impressive fans at high RPM.

Hi, maybe you could buy an external box for desktop gpus, although it's a very expensive buy . Do you know if there are good universal egpu boxes at the moment? I heard of something limited at one brand only

Laptop Gpus are soldered to the motherboard and can't be removed without recking the board. The only thing you can do is to get a better laptop.

you can get Clevo laptops, but hard to tell if you can upgrade to the next gen gpu.

1050ti laptops are pretty much BGA, you can get 1060 clevo laptops

Clevo made Alienware before it was bought by Dell, if that says something to you..

Best bet is to get a used Clevo laptop, I recently spent $700 on my Clevo P570WM i7 4930k/32gbram/GTX 780m. Also a previous owner of a Clevo D900F. Probably the best all around company for being upgradeable.

Yeah I'd also recommend a getting an used clevo, msi or alienware. Check for ones that can have their GPU's upgraded, as for CPU personally i feel that anything after 3rd gen Intel doesn't make much of a difference.

I had a clevo P170EM with a Nvidia 675m and went to a 980m, but cheaper options are also possible.
