P570WM & 6800k

Is the i7-6800k compatible with the P570wm? Inquiring minds want to know :P

P570wm has got a x79 socket: sorry my friend, 6800k won't fit your laptop. Maximum upgrade is  i7 4960x or some xeon x79 socketed (E5 V2 if i'm correct).

You mean P570WM has LGA 2011 socket LOL. 6800K uses LGA 2011v3.

Depending on your current CPU, a Xeon can be a very good upgrade on the cheap. Check the list of possible compatible CPUs here.

Maybe not all CPUs on that list are compatible, but if you already have a PremaMod Bios installed probably they all work.

Right, what i meant was that the chipset was X79, so it corresponds to LGA2011 socket. My bad.

The Xeon can be good upgrades, but i would rather go to a 3960X  or 4930k, as you can find them for a good price, whit little search.
