paltalpha
I have mid 2014 retina macbook pro with nvidia 750m. Im trying to run a gtx 970 on an external monitor. It works fine in os x. In windows (bootcamp), if I boot up without the displayport cable plugged into the gtx 970 then my internal screen comes on and I can see in device manager both the 750m and 970 being detected with no issues. Whenever the displayport cable is plugged in both my external monitor and internal monitor go black with the mouse flickering occasionally. This holds true if I boot it up with it plugged in, attach the thunderbolt cable at the partition selection screen, etc. Any help? Thank you
Dschijn
Can you disable the 750m by any chance?!
tattar8
In my experience, having the 750m enabled always gave me problems. There's a hack you can perform to enable the integrated Intel graphics on Windows; you can then switch to it and disable the 750m.
