Hope someone is still alive ;-)

Bought a HP Quadro M3000M card for my MSI GT70.

As seen in a Polen forum the Dell 84.04.6D.00.06  vbios should work  in a MSI

https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/207075/207075

So is here someone that could send me an open Version of that vbios or another Dell opened Version?

thx

Hi!

I think, as first step, you need to check if original stock Dell vbios 84.04.6D.00.06 will work in your MSI GT70.

thx for answer Klem

In past i tested and sold many GT70 (and GT60- Erazer 782x- 682x )with different cards-  the notebooks had open Biosses-

Till today AMD Firepro M6100  and all Quadros K3000-K3100- K4000 and K4100 works fine even with oben Vbios 25% faster than K5100m (see pic Graphicscore 5,8k)

i also flashed the K4100m with HP OC bios and it worked in the GT70 (found and correct work even with MSI Optimus)

So i think it will be no problem with the Dell vbios and i saw a Foto with working M3000M with the Dell bios on it in a Gt70 .

But ok- card is in transfer- takes 1-3 days till i can tell more about-- (have less time in moment to work with the maxwell Tweaker so i thought someone did the job for the M3000M in zhe last years)

So the news.

After long tests and mofifications the  Nvidia  Quadro M3000M fires now a Medion Erazer  X7827 Notebook- MS 1763 Board - its like the GT70 2PC.

The first pic shows orig freq - the second +135Mhz..Graficscore is 7133 Pts- not bad and getting near GTX970 std.

Problem now is:

I cannot flash my maxwell Tweaker Mod Vbios cause

1. In Dos the Nvidia card will not be found- No list entry etc..

2. in Win10 nvflash i only can use -6 parameter and flashing will stop without result cause of worng vbios....

So if someone has  a idea or a opened Dell bios witch i can check..

To flash any Maxwell's modded vbios use this NVflash version:  https://files.fm/u/jaqwd3yg

Hi @Klem

Do you have any open bios for 8740w DC , M3000M.

My hp M3000M dont boot, screen remain blank  and Caps/Num Lock LEDs keep blinking.

I am waiting to receive SOC chip programmer, so can't send current vBIOS right away. Thought may be you something available with you.

Thanks

No, I have not. Also, I don't think that M3000M will work correctly in HP 8740W laptop.

M3000M on 8740w

Actually this guy has got it working,

This is the only difference I could identify, I have got Dream Color display and He has standard one. From Forums I can understand both displays have different lvds/data cables which restrict card compatibility.

This site also claims M3000M working on 8740w DC> M3000M on 8740w Dream Color
