Hi Klem!

 

I read and searched on net about bios unlocking for my Lenov y50-70 with bios version 9ECN43WW(V3.03)

can you help me with all or any one of unlocked BIOS menu / wlan whitelist mod / vbios mod

 

I have Lenovo Y50-70 I7-4710HQ 860m 4GB

Hello!

Ok. No problem. Send me your file backup of bios in PM.  For creating backup of bios use attached program. Unzip attached archive directly on the Desktop and run the program as administrator (right click mouse). Program will create archive "results" directly on the Desktop. Send me this archive "results" via PM.

I've already got hidden menus unlocked in this BIOS but could I get an unlocked VBIOS and maybe higher fan speeds (if possible)?

Hey, I plan to test your BIOS with my Y50-70, but I was wondering, does your laptop have the 860m card, or the 960m? Just to see if we have the exact same laptop. Mine is the 20378 model.

 

Also, are you using the Intel fpt to re-flash your BIOS?

Hi!

Each mod bios is personal, because it based on personal backup file and contain the personal data like UUID number, board SN number, MAC-adress for wi-fi and lan cards, Windows keys, etc.

You are absolutely right. I'm on an eGPU project. Maybe I'll ask you for a mod after I do my initial tests. Thanks.

I have underclocked the gpu, but laptop still overheats, i have already cleaned the fans, applied new thermal grease, my i7 4720HQ is running at 2.6 ghz without BD PROCHOT, ideafan 1.9 is slightly helping in certain games, but most of them send my laptop to shutdown of overheat after 20 mins of gameplay, lowering voltage of gpu could help decrease the heat output
