Send me the file backup of your bios via PM.  For creating backup of bios use attached program. Unzip attached archive directly on the Desktop and run the program as administrator (right click mouse). Program will create archive "results" directly on the Desktop. Send me this archive "results" via PM.

Hi lil kim !

It's not so simple, and need too much to explain. But if you realy want to understand main process, then you can read this nice article:  http://www.zmatt.net/unlocking-my-lenovo-laptop-part-2/

Yes I understand that its not that simple. I would just like to get the application to unpack/repack BIOS. Could you PM a link with it?

PM sent about my y50-70 bios wlan whitelist mod as well, thank you

(it seems my account only allows 1 PM at a time storage, let me know if I need to delete it to make room)

Ok. Check your PM.

Sorry I confused the term, I wanted to understand a PM. The site gives me an error like "Something went wrong. Please try again.
Error code: EX0 "

Check your PM box.

Flashed modded bios and it worked perfectly with a replacement WiFi card. Many thanks!

The small button next to power button (shortcuts to quickboot menu) no longer works, but it is not necessary.

For my curiosity, why does the EC version still say version 1.14?
