Blizzard’s Diablo has complete Lore Book in the Works

Blizzard’s annual fan expo BlizzCon is in October. This is when all the scoop about its Warcraft, Starcraft, and Diablo franchises is revealed. This year though Blizzard was present at Comic-Con 2011 and held a panel devoted to all things unholy.

The Diablo Compendium was among Blizzard’s novels based on the Warcraft, Starcraft, and Diablo franchises. The studio will release an official source book for the franchise. Diablo III’s launch is still undetermined.

The Diablo compendium is written as the journal of Deckard Cain. Cain is a wise man acting as a guide to characters in the game. Included in the book is story and history for the Diablo series, also including class descriptions and notable people.
