Gigabyte, a brand associated with desktop mainboards rather than peripherals, will be releasing a new stealth looking mouse called the Aivia M8600 that targets gamers. One of the features this new mouse boasts includes dual quick change batteries that allow for one to be charged while the other is in use; Gigabyte claims up to 100 hours of continued use with both.
The Aivia M8600 utilizes Gigabyte’s Twin-Eye system that has been used in the Mad Catz RAT 7 and Cooler Master Storm Sentinel mouse. It’s noted that the Twin-Eye system had some initial issues with tracking but Gigabyte claims a firmware update has fixed that.
There is no definitive release date or pricing set yet but you can expect this mouse to show up in stores in the near future.
