Thanko PC Waterbed Cools Laptops, Let’s Hope it Doesn’t Leak

Got an overheating notebook that burns your thighs while using it or throttles during your favorite games? Well Thanko has a solution for you! It’s an inflatable cushion that contains water (yes–water!) in the middle that is supposed to help cool your poor sweaty hot notebook. Well that’s the theory anyway, I don’t see how this would work with all the notebook bottom vents covered and without an active pump to dissipate the built up heat in the water, never mind the fact that this would be prone to leaking. If you check out the Thanko website, you do see this miracle pad can also serve as a pillow when you need that quick 10-15 minute nap at the office.
