With everyone and their mother jumping aboard the tablet bandwagon, HTC has decided join the fray with it’s 7 inch HTC Flyer tablet. This new tablet will run on Android Gingerbread 2.4 and be powered by a 1.5 GHz single core CPU (that’s right single core), 1 GB RAM and 32GB of flash storage. The screen will have a resolution of 1024×600 and will also make use of a stylus. For those that absolutely must take photos with their tablets, the Flyer will feature a 5 MP camera and a 1.3 MP front facing imager. Battery life is expected to be at four hours with continous video playback thanks to a 4000mAh battery.

HTC will aslo be featuring the OnLive cloud gaming service for gamers that want to play traditional PC games on a handheld.
